Effect of a Farnesoid X-receptor Agonist on Postprandial Lipemia in Rats Fed a Supraphysiological Fat Dozes

Introduction. One of the most progressive directions modern stage development biology is deepening knowledge about mechanisms regulation metabolic processes, in particular signal molecules that transmit information to cell through ion channels and nuclear receptors associated with G-protein or enzymatic activity. The Farnesoid X receptor (FXR) mainly expressed liver intestines, it regulates key genes provide processes synthesis, transport reabsorption bile acids, also involved metabolism lipids carbohydrates. Aim. To evaluate effect a farnesoid agonist on postprandial lipemia rats fed supraphysiological fat diet. Materials methods. An experimental, prospective, controlled, unblinded, randomized study was conducted (obeticholic acid) receiving diet containing dose fats. Results discussion. As result, risk hyperchylomicronemia, hypercholesterolemia hypertriglyceridemia eliminated, likelihood developing secondary hyperlipedemia, insulin functional overload (or pathology) reduced.
